Very attentive service, delicious high-qualify food. Tapas-style meals, small portions but just enough to satisfy. Very quick service from the kitchen and excellent presentation. This place is ideal for a sociable meal.

Your reviewer: I moved here from NYC about a year ago and the thing I miss the most is good food. Not fancy over-priced food, just good honest food, cooked well for a decent price. The Location: I'd been hearing from friend's that this place was good. It's more than good. It's fantastic. Yeah, it's in a gas station. I don't care, it makes the whole thing more charming.The Food: I watched in amazement as the cook carefully salted and peppered my fries, flipping them around in a bowl. These are real fries from real potatoes, cooked perfectly, seasoned perfectly and served hot. I don't know why they are so good. The freshness? The seasoning? The quality of the oil?I also got a chicken burger. It too was deep fried, which I did not expect. Usually I find deep friend chicken things to be disgusting and basically inedible. This was neither. The chicken was actually chicken, it was delicious and fresh tasting. The breading was crispy and caramelized and not at all greasy.Well done Sli City Grill, I enjoyed every bite.First Off I would like to say welcome to Powell River :) Second of all I would like to say thank you for enjoying our food and come back again soon. I love to hear great reviews from people well traveled, and to know that our fries were the best coming from someone who is from New York (VERY well known for their fires) puts me over the moon
