Called to book a night here in November, and was quoted a rate of £85 a night even though the website quite clearly states £75 a night for a Saturday reservation. When this was queried I just got the reply of âoh well thatâs the rateâ. I would like to suggest they update their website and work on their customer service a little. For the sake of £10 a good will gesture could have been offered.Many thanks for the feedback. We will take a look at this and take action where necessary.

Dined here on a Friday evening to celebrate a friends birthday. The pub is well decorated, quirky and charming at the same time. Large garden room dining area to the rear as well as upstairs and the bar's area's.The pub was very busy but that didn't slow the service or the quality of the food. An excellent selection of premium beers, wines and spirits The food was great, cooked to perfection, well seasoned and full of flavour.We ordered 8 main meals including 2 pizzas, 3 puddings and over the night we ordered 6 cocktails, 6 beers 2 ciders and 3 soft drinks so I was very impressed by a bill which I thought was very reasonable for the quality of food we were served.I left full and satisfied and i look forward to a return visit soon.
