I used to have a very good experience with this restaurant, but I was quite disappointed during our last visit (with the whole family). Service was below expectations, not too friendly, while prices were relatively high .... Maybe we were there on a bad day ........

Alge is one of the world's best vegan restaurants, situated close to the centre of Mönchengladbach. We have tried veggie restaurants all over the world ourselves and also brought lots of friends with expertise to Alge, all of us like Alge the best. Every course is a small wonder in itself with incredible variation and love for detail, the taste is absolutely amazing. We love it, despite not even being vegan and so do all of our friends who have tried it so far. It is not at all like a regular restaurant or a sandwich bar, but more like a journey through countless previously unknown tastes and creative servings, perfected by the cook (the artist) David. Take your time to get to know Alge and you will find a whole new world of wonderful food and culinary knowledge. We are delighted with it and will come back many times.

Harry’s is the place to be! The food is absolutely delicious. We took some of the charcuterie and snacks, langoustines, niçoise salad, lobster with saffran risotto and three desserts (the strawberry dessert, the passion fruit dessert and the cheesecake). The langoustines were delightful since it came with a freshly made antiboise, the tuna of the niçoise salad was heavenly as the texture was remarkably soft and the three desserts were classic, yet somehow unique. I can only say that it was finger licking good! And then, the service team: they are friendly, neat and I noticed that they tried to find a connection with their guests, which ensures and optimizes an authentic and unique experience at Harry’s. Thank you so much for this great experience,Robin
