The atmosphere at Cure is small with loads of raw wood surfaces; providing a quaint, rustic and intimate dining experience. The service was great (including being very accommodating by pushing back our reservation slightly, when we called while stuck in traffic). Our table started with the dry-aged beef tartare. The beef was topped with black garlic, shallots and a few, small, pickled egg yolks. Our server explained that the chef intended the tartare to be eaten with the accompanying lettuce leaves as a wrap. The dish was served with a small batch of house made, salt & vinegar potato chips. This was fantastic and flavorful start to dinner. My next course was the sweet onion and brioche soup. The soup was nice with the flavors of a very mild, French-onion soup. My entrée was the cavateli with Bolognese sauce. The hearty sauce was a good compliment to the house made pasta. Given the starter and the soup, I found the half order of the pasta to be plenty. We shared a serving of the olive oil ice cream for dessert. The ice cream was OK, but fell bit short on flavor in comparison the rest of the meal. This was a very nice meal in a comfortable atmosphere, which included great service. I look forward to my next visit.

First time at Blue North, nice atmosphere and really great food! We ordered the Filo Wrapped Brie Cheese as an appetizer. It was really good with smaller individual pieces of cheese and cherries. There were 6 of us, we got 2 orders and there was just enough. The bread and "fancy" butter were delicious! I had the Roasted Salmon, as I said before, it was delicious! Nice drink menu and the happy hour sounded good also. You must be seated at the bar, or high tables in bar area, to order happy hour drinks and small plates.Thank you so much for the review, We appreciate your comments and business!

Looking for a place for dinner we checked Tripadvisor and one of the suggestions was the brewery. Our sever Rachel was great, friendly and helpful. The poutine was OK, fries, gravy and mushrooms. A great selection of beers including a few seasonal brews. The sausage and cheese platter was great especially their creamy cheese spread. Enjoyed it so much we ordered one to go for the next day.Thank you very much! We will be sure to let Rachel know you enjoyed her service. Cheers to good beers and food! We hope to see you again soon and thank you for stopping in!
