I come here time and time again because simply put.... there is no better place in Evesham for lunch. Whether itâs the fresh soups, the âSpanish omelette with sautéed mushrooms, spinach and garlic breadâ or the slow roast chicken grilled baguettes- I cant emphasise how good they are. Not to mention the homemade cakes and smoothies. All topped off with excellent service.

We had an absolutely lovely and relaxing Mothers' Day lunch here yesterday.Just about the warmest & most genuine welcome from Jane we've ever received in a pub/restaurant.The food was excellent, so fresh and beautifully presented. My chicken was delicious - not seen roast chicken served like that (boned, stuffed, rolled and then sliced) since my parents-in-law ran a pretty top-notch restaurant in the eighties.Sooo much more a pleasure to eat than trying to hack it off the bone.Loved the fresh fruit homemade meringue - not often you get homemade meringue - and lovely and gooey and chewey in the middle just like it should be.Everything homemade, hand-prepared, nothing mass-produced. My husband said his dark chocolate tart was to die for.And our daughter raved over the pork belly, a delicious twist on the traditional pork belly which is seen so often on menus these days Compliments to the Chef(s) indeed.Lovely staff who were friendly and onthe ball, despite it being a very busy day. There was a relaxed unhurried atmosphere with no sign of anyone flapping (pretty unusual on Mothering Sunday of all days!)I think The Cropthorne Bell is fast becoming our favourite local go-to.Many thanks for choosing to celebrate Mothering Sunday with us!We are very grateful for your lovely comments! It is wonderful when we have guests who are so appreciative.I will ensure that all our team receive your comments. They will be so delighted that all their hard work was so appreciated. We look forward to welcoming you again soon to our homeBest wishesJane & Andre Burney and The Cropthorne Bell Team

Perfectly placed opposite the launderette and much more fun to eat than watch washing spinning I decided to finally check out the breakfast baguettes.Unfortunately baguettes weren't available but I did have a lovely veggie sausage and mushroom sandwich! The lady serving was lovely, very friendly. The sandwich and a tea came to about a fiver after the third attempt at adding up. Delicious!
