Very small, but very, very good. Do not be put off by the rather bare counter on the ground floor. Upstairs is a colourful and well appointed dining room with views over the square. The menu is short and relatively simple, but everything we ordered was delicious, including a first class tiramisu. Wine list short but varied. Service friendly and efficient. Very good.

The food and service at this small restaurant are remarkable. Very friendly place with comfortable seating. Un-rushed meal during which we could watch the chef at work. The quality of the ingredients and the care of preparation is very high. This is a true gem of a restaurant.One word of caution for the not-too-able; the toilets are up a steep staircase

Again another review for this place as I've been back here again. This place most probably has the most extensive local cabernet franc wines in Chinon, I've eaten and drunk their wines here on many occasions and I've NEVER been disappointed. The owners are lovely and welcoming as are their staff. You will need to book.
