We stayed at The Green Park Inn and so had the included breakfast which is served at the Chestnut Grille restaurant. There were several delicious and varied breakfast entrees to choose from. All in our party were happy with their choices. Our server was friendly and the historic rooms of the inn were clean. I have a gluten allergy and they had several gluten free options available (although not labeled).Glad you enjoyed your breakfast. It's pretty spectacular, we must agree. Our guest room rates are truly a great value when you add in our delicious full breakfast. Thanks for the review!

My wife, adult son and I had lunch at this spot during a brief visit to Blowing Rock.An unpretentious building on the main street, we were greeted and welcomed in a most friendly manner. I chose the day's special, my wife BLT salad and our son the pulled pork sandwich. All was presently presented and delicious. The bill was surprisingly lean. A great lunch spot!

Delicious food primarily locally sourced served in an upscale, beautiful and intimate setting, Gary provided exceptional wine guidance for the ecclectic selections, and we found the pricing to be very good. Chef Sara personally came out to greet us. Food prices were about what we expected given the quality of ingredients, and portions for appetizers were large enough for sharing, Service was some of the best in the High Country. We had a party of six and everyone LOVED it. We will definitely go back.
