Love their food as its always very tasteful and the takeaway's are always big portions. And the best is that the meat in the dishes is TENDER unlike a lot of other's we have tried around the South Island. We visit quite often and recommend to any visitors that want a lovely Chinese meal to go to this restaurant.

The Golden Palace had a lovely atmosphere, nicely decorated and with very friendly staff. We brought our own wine and just paid a small surcharge. We ordered the beef black pepper and black bean, the seafood combination with garlic and ginger sauce as well as boiled rice. There was lots of seafood in the combination including king prawns, scallops, mussels and squid. The sauce was very tasty and there were lots of crisp vegetables as well. The beef was sizzling as it came out and was so very tasty.Great food really close to where we were staying at a nearby motel.
