This was an interesting place to have lunch. I think I loved the architecture more than I loved the food, but that alone makes a stop here so worth it. However, the food was good, very fresh. My group had a tempura set. Everything was beautifully presented. Thereâs a small gift shop downstairs and a courtyard garden. Private rooms for lunch or dinner are available with reservations. If youâre looking for somewhere quiet and aesthetic for a good meal, I recommend. Itâs located in a more historic part of town, so even just walking the neighborhood was nice. Itâs also not far from Mermaid Beach. However, if you canât read Japanese, you may have some difficulties. They staff are very kind, but Iâm not sure what their level of spoken English is.
