We recently visited the Normandy region and by chance discovered an Asian buffet restaurant in Lisieux. Located on the edge of town in the commercial district, you may not see it from the road (best to use GPS); however, it was well worth the visit.We went for dinner and arrived at exactly 7 pm when it opened. Either make a reservation or get here within 15 minutes of opening as the restaurant fills quickly. Everything on the buffet was fresh!!!You have a tremendous selection of sushi, sashimi, traditional egg rolls, steamed wontons, fried rice, and selected cooked meats. The unique feature of this buffet is the "Mongolian grill" section in which you pick your uncooked meats and raw vegetables and cook them yourself at your table. The inset heating grill allows you to cook on your own hot portion of the meal to your liking.Please learn a few words or phrases in French as the staff did not speak English (at least not during our visit). This will not make for a bad night--it can only make your evening better. A reasonable price (11.50 Euros for lunch, 15.50 for dinner) for a good buffet to fill your appetite.

I loved choosingv raw ingredients and watching them be cooked in a work by one of the chefs as well as the tasty starters. Bottle of Chote du Rhone enjoyed for a very reasonable price (â¬12)
