As others have noted, there aren't many decent Chinese restaurants in the area. So I was encouraged by the positive reviews I saw on Tripadvisor and Yelp. Unfortunately, our first experience didn't support those reviews. The hot and sour soup was spicy but lacked any of the 'sour'. Not terrible, but probably not something I'd order again. The fried dumplings were either frozen and microwave thawed or microwave cooked and then lightly fried. They were chewy (even difficult to cut with a fork), flat, and tasteless without the sauce provided. The Hunan chicken either used overcooked veggies added to the wok or had been sitting, pre-cooked, for hours. That's the only thing that could account for the soggy vegetables that were a mush-like consistency. The Hunan sauce itself wasn't bad but not using fresh raw veggies in the wok is a sin that doesn't bode well for any other dishes. The pork mei fun was also of a soggy consistency but overall was the best of the 4 items we sampled.I won't write this place off on the basis of one visit. Hopefully, the other dishes I want to sample will be better than this initial sampling.

Christmas Day. You'd think they'd take the opportunity of so many other places closed to put their best effort on. The place is filthy! The hibachi chef sweeps up the floor, then proceeds to cook your meal without washing his hands nor putting on gloves. Everything on the buffet looks like gelatin; Just floppy and tasteless. It's just gross.

One night, while visiting Jensen Beach on Beautiful Hutchinson Island, Fl., we decided Chinese food would be a nice change of pace. We checked the yellow pages and found New Peking Chinese Restaurant to be the closest, located in a strip mall. We did not place a huge order, Pepper Steak with Onions, some Pork Fried Rice and a couple of Egg Rolls. Lets begin with the Pepper Steak. Small, thin, stringy, tough pieces of beef accompanied by under cooked peppers and onions in a watery brown soup. Enough said about that. The fried rice. Pale, light beige containing no vegetables and one or two small shreds of pork. We don't know how they call this Pork Fried Rice. The the Egg Rolls. Soft, not fried crispy and tasteless. They gave us a free wonton soup with our order, which we decided to toss without opening (could not stand anymore disappointing food at that point). We are guessing that this restaurant survives on the non-repeat business of the tourists on nearby Hutchinson Island. Do yourself a favor, stay away.
