Ever since China Moon opened in the Top's plaza in Hamlin, everyone I know who has tried it has become a regular satisfied customer. The food is consistently top-notch, and very reasonably priced. They do primarily a take-out business, although there are a 1/2 dozen or so tables to eat in, if desired. In true Chinese restaurant fashion, they have a huge menu, many items of which I have tried, and are much better than some big-name Chinese places in the Rochester area that charge more. Highly recommended!

Stopped here for the first time last week & was very pleased. I ordered something from the lunch menu-it was under $5.00 & included Won Ton soup. I ordered a shrimp dish, & was surprised to find that they used the large-sized variety instead of the usual tiny shrimp most Chinese take-out places use in the lunch specials. I will definitely stop here again.

While the food is not bad, it's not great either. They have certain dishes they do better. I like the steamed dumplings, General Tso's chicken and veggie lo-mein. The egg drop soup is pretty good too. They are always quick and friendly enough, even though we go there sparingly. Typical American Chinese cuisine if that's what you like.
