Visiting my grandkids in Hamburg at Thanksgiving again and we once again got take out from this great local restaurant. Prices are reasonable and portions large. I ordered Happy Family which had pork, scallops, shrimp, chicken and veggies and it was great. My Mum had chicken and broccoli and it lasted her for two meals. My grandkids are picky eaters but they love the sweet and sour chicken here and the fortune cookies too. Very nice. Only thing that could make this a 5* review would be if Ginger and Garlic offered brown rice in addition to white rice!
I have been eating chinese food for 30 years and have never before tried something so horrendous in that time. My wife ordered me a chicken with broccoli combo. the chicken was rubbery and had a bad aftertaste. The rice could be molded together to make a superball. I went back to the restaurant to complain, but the gentleman spoke very poor english. So, after 2 phone calls with people who "speak better english", I was prompted to try some "fresh rice". I didn't think it was possible, but it was worse that the rice I got with my combo. They made me a new order of chicken with broccoli this time with pork fried rice. As I was leaving the restaurant with my order, the two gentlemen in the restaurant shut the light off and practically ran out the door. When I got home, I sat down to eat my meal. The chicken was again rubbery and the vegetables were raw. On the upside, the pork fried rice was good. All in all, I won't be going there again and I would suggest the same to anyone who enjoys chinese food.

While passing thru, we hankered for some Chinese cuisine, with that , Miss Garmin suggest this place. The façade is a corner bldg., which has a residence atop. The entry leads into a rather make shift old schooled table and chair assembly for say 10 patrons. The barely managed space from entry to counter will allow for only three max patrons observing the menu, which is quite limited. We quickly surveyed the area and thought better of things. Understandably it's the only game for a large area.
