We were looking for a place for Chinese food, and I guess Elko's not the best place. If this is their highest rated Chinese place, I'd go for Mexican.The place looks like an old Denny's. It didn't seem very clean, and only a couple of people were there.We ordered Tomato Beef, which was on the menu, and the person told us that they couldn't make us tomato beef because tomatoes aren't in season. Hello? It's June. Would you like me to go to the local market and get you some? Because they are definitely in season in June.So we ordered a few other dishes. My husband thought the food was okay, he even took the leftovers with us. I thought it was not very good, and very salty. The next day he agreed to let me toss the leftovers.

We love Asian food and eat it often. We especially like Thai & Vietnamese. The food at Blue Moon was very good with great flavors. The portions were large! We appreciated the delicious edamame that was brought to our table to nibble on. Our waitress was sweet but not very attentive. I would definitely recommend this place. Something for everyone!Hi. They serve home-made Chinese food in the middle of no other choices. Accolade to them to prepare so many varieties. You can't compare them to the Chinese restaurants in big cities. Keep your fingers crossed that they will stay and continue to serve the community and travelers.
