I came to eat at Lepub (Ciao Cat Ba & Restaurant) when I got off my 3 hour bus ride from Hanoi so I was really hungry.I was welcomed by the dainty, young lady, Hue. My meal was really tasty and flavorful. There was a lovely ambiance in the restaurant.

I asked to local people where to eat and all of them said the same thing: this restaurant or the next one (with a very similar name to people like me, who don't speak Vietnamese) we tried this one and everything was delicious, with the exception of the shrimp, those were a little burned. I think it is a good place, but I needed to explore some more.

We started with a water taxi to the restaurant, then selected our dinner from several nets of live seafood. Low key, relaxed atmosphere, excellent food. The restaurant is a bit pricey by Cat Ba standards, but well worth it for the experience.
