I love Chinese food and I like coming here. But I wish they would prepare their offerings like I was living in China. It's a bit too Americanized. To their defense, I think that they have to do this for folks who don't understand true Chinese cuisine. They have a nice place with good service. I just wish the offerings were prepared in a more authentic Chinese fashion.

This is definitely take out! I've been coming here for over 10 years and love this place! Spicy garlic chicken is my fave. But everything is fantastic. Not overly fried like other chineese restaraunt . Quick service. And the place is ultra clean, I really appreciate that.

Food is sub-par. Seems like it's all frozen, and reheated. Had rubbery chicken during our visit. Location is drab and dirty. Service is below average. When we were there, we were the only table in the restaurant and thrice had to go 'find' our server (to ask for water, then to ask to order, then to try to pay). This location is right on the lake and would benefit from both a face-lift internally, but also externally (not sure why they don't capitalize on the lake view with windows/patio, etc...), This restaurant also does not accept any form of credit/debit card. I would not recommend House of Lo.
