The correct name is "New China", not "China 1". This is a small business that has dine-in seating and provides take-out. It is run by a young Chinese couple, both of whom take orders, work the register, and cook, and other staff include the parents of one of them and a brother. We greatly enjoyed Curry Chicken dinner which included several types of vegetables, an egg roll, and a choice of rice, Chicken and Snow Peas. All of it was delicious. Portions very generous, served on real dishes for dine-in. The wife works the counter and dining area and is friendly, courteous, and attentive. The prices are very reasonable, in line with other Chinese take-outs that I have visited elsewhere. They provide a very reasonably priced buffet for lunch but I do not know its content. The men's restroom had no paper towels.
This looks like your typical mediocre plaza Chinese food but under the new ownership they have brought some good Asian food to Blue Ridge. They serve fresh home made Chinese and Thai. All of your favorite dishes are here and done pretty well! We had Chicken lo mein for the kids and I had the chicken and tofu green curry. The dish for the kids was big enough to split and the green curry was bigger than it looked. My wife had the Pad Thai which she said was good but not as good as some places closer to Atlanta; but without having to drive an hour it's nice to have decent Asain food close by now. If you sit in they bring you these yummy wonton noodles and dipping sauce like a Mexican restaurant would bring you chips and salsa. They are good. Our total was $33.00 for all of us. I'm glad they are here and giving some variety to Blue Ridge. Friendly service, good portions and affordable for the quality.

Restaurant is large and has a Chinese side and a Hibachi side. We ate at the Hibachi side. Very good and entertaining. We're from Knoxville and all of us agreed it's BETTER than Wasabi restaurant here - - and Wasabit is REALLY popular in Knoxville!!! Defi
Iâve had some good food there and had great hopes. However, too many times the food has been inconsistent. I canât get my family to go back, and even though I had hopes the food canât be trusted. Too many other good places to go in and near Blue Ridge. Donât waste your time at Tin Loong.
