The welcome couldn't be warmer and that's just the start. Excellent service supported truly excellent food. We both agreed that, if we lived here, this would be a weekly visit for us. Tasty, well cooked, hot (not 'sitting there for five minutes' warm) and plentiful, we both had excellent meals. Highly recommended.

I've never seen such discrepancy between the appearance from outside a restaurant and the experience within. King-City looks anything but inviting, is a bit oddly located and the name itself reminds more of a takeaway. Were there not good reviews here already and would our host just round the corner not have confirmed that "het Chinees is goed", the chances are we would never have passed their doorstep. What we got was first class food and service in a place as clinically clean that eating inside the toilet would not be a hygienic issue. We went for the surprise menu and got the freshest veggies, the finest prawns and spring rolls filled with the best duck meat I've ever had. The generous main course further included some deliciously spiced chicken and the menu concluded with ice cream which must have been homemade or from a very special supplier. When it came to the bill, it fitted more the external impression of this place. This was absolutely stunning and surprising. Should we come back to Egmond, we will call there again.

Went there a couple of nights back with my wife.What we liked: sitting near the right window, we had a good view of the magnificent ruinekerk (the church of bergen partly in ruins); the service was good and fast; the main course ( foe yong hai -omelette with vegs-, and the chow ming -noodles with shrimps-) were nice.What we didnt like: loempjas too dry, soup with a bytaste, kroepoek not up to standards, omelette sauce far too sweet. I would not go back so easily.
