Came here on a Saturday afternoon after meeting my friend nearby. It was 4pm and the place was practically empty. I got very attentive service. No complaints here. The hot and sour soup was nice. I enjoyed it. I also ordered mixed fried rice. It was aromatic and very enjoyable. The 'double cooked pork' was not authentic. I have had authentic ones before but nevertheless it tastes good.Overall, 3 star. Just average. just okay. Fair.

We have tried this restaurant for take out a few times, and the bill comes out to double that of any other Chinese restaurant. The egg drop soup and rice was as good as any other place, but for $ 10, it doesn't make sense for soup. The bill came out to over $ 50 for the same items we order at our regular Chinese restaurant, and pay under $ 30. I know Basking Ridge is an upscale town, but I just can't support a restaurant that takes advantage of that. The food was not better than any place else.To my followers:If money doesn't matter, then this is the place for you. There is a great Chinese restaurant in the town next door in Bedminster that is better for half the price. We will go back there. Your choice.

Not good at all. Whoever decided thiswas the way to run a chinese restaurant must not have run one before. The order taker barely speaks english. Repeating the order 4 times before he gets it right is too much work. They do not serve pint size dishes, only quartz. So, if my wife and I want differrent things, we have to order huge sizes, which costs double, and half of our takeout is left overs, which shouldn't happen.Or, we have to eat the same thing, which doesn't happen because she likes spicy and I do not.The prices are quite high, compared to the other chinese takeout in the area. I would stick with the one in the Lyons Mall, rather than go here and struggle to get your order correct for double the price.Hint: If you still decide to order from here, stay away from the egg drop soup! It is super thick and salty. They use way too much thickener, maybe to hide something. I saved half of mine for the next day, and when I took it out, it was a solid mass of egg drop. I have never seen that before!
