We have been going to the Golden Star for a number of years now and it never fails to impress us. The food is very good and the portions are very generous. The service is friendly and quite quick, you are enjoying your meal in very short order. This is always about our first choice for dinner when visiting Astoria and is one of our favorite Chinese restaurants anywhere we go. Most of the staff have been there for as long as we have been going there and they are extremely pleasant and welcoming.

Very nice young man server. Egg flower soup Luke warm. Sweet and sour chicken bad. Batter bland. Unrecognizable chicken pieces. Fried rice ok. The fortune cookie didn't even have a fortune inside. Can't recommend this place. Drive to Gearhart to the Great Wall for excellent Chinese food.
