We found this bolthole via Trip advisor and it did not let us down. We managed to nab a table without a booking...which is not usual as we saw many others turned away after us. Hard to find but definately worth the effort. Food is fantastic and the staff are friendly and accomodating. It will be on our list for our return to Gran Canaria.

This is one among few great places to find excellent food, wine and HOSPITALITY. When serving, Silvia also gives us information about the grape, the vineyard and the character of the wine. Mirco is the chef and he makes us taste wonderful cheeses, ham, carpaccio og tuna or meat, beside his own red pepper marmalade. This couple always makes the visit at Tintoroble, a visit into gourmet tastes, both food and wine, AND being so warm and friendly you feel as if you are staying in private surroundings, not at San Agustin Shopping Centre. As advertised by the staff as well, the restaurant really has the best paella in town! :)I highly recommend the place for the Paella and the Fish of the day as well. Apart from the great food, the staff of the restaurant was by far the nicest from all the places we've been on our stay on the island. The selection of wines is also large and suitable for all tastes. Had leche fritta and crème brulee for desert, and just like for my taste, they were not too sweet, just perfect. I admire the staff for their dedication and friendliness and for keeping their smile on even for rude customers. Keep up the good work guys, you were by far my favorites from the island!
