We were passing through on our way to a Caribbean cruise and thought we would kick off our vacation with a Caribbean lunch. What a great decision! I got the ackee and saltfish, something I had never tried before. It was quite delicious! My husband got the Jerk chicken. It was so tender it fell off the bone. They had a nice variety of sides as well. I also tried a beverage made with pineapple juice, lime juice, and fresh ginger that had just the right amount of sweet hot bite. We will definitely return any time we are in the area.

Seriously, this was the best Cuban I've ever had. I used to live in Florida and now work in Florida and Georgia. I've had Cuban's from little Havana in Miami and tons of other places. The Cuban here was outta sight! I seriously almost ordered a second one to eat on the plane. If you have to go out of your way, make this spot a stop on your culinary journey. You will not be disappointed. They had a crazy mango slaw too that was phenomenal. Can't wait to get back to this fine establishment.

Mo'Bay Island Cuisine is a Jamaican and American Cuisine Restaurant that serves traditional Jamaican dishes such as Jerk Chicken, Curry Chicken, Brown Stew Chicken, Curry Goat, Oxtails, Plantains, Caribbean Jerk Burgers, Jerk Pork, Escovitched and Steamed
Before visiting Savannah, my friend and I picked this place for lunch. We ordered Jerk Ribs (with spicy Curry rice and steamed cabbages) and Curry Goat (with fried Johnny cakes and roti). Their service was very friendly and attentive, but a little bit slow. Their ribs were too salty to eat. Among all the food items we ordered, we both voted for the fried Johnny cakes because it was the least seasoned one. In terms of taste, we both agreed that we had better Jamaican food before.
