This place does not have enough reviews and is definitely not ranked properly because this little spot is freaking amazing. I had Caribbean food before so I knew the flavor I was about to indulge in but I was shocked on how good the oxtails were. These things were massive and extremely tasty. The meat was falling off the bones too.The owner is a hoot and very welcoming to us. The second time around I got the curry chicken because apparently the oxtails will walk on out, lol. They sell really fast so today I am calling in an order once they receive them. I really hate I do not have a lot of time here to eat at this place a few more times and I know I will be missing them oxtails.

Given the praise afforded this restaurant, I decided to visit. Mind you, before venturing to any new place, I check out the menu online. The prices seemed agreeable, so I went. Upon entering, I was greeted by a young woman who asked what I would like. I ordered a large Ox-tail dinner. She said it would be about 10 minutes, which although seemed strange (as this type of dish has a long preparation process and is usually readily available), I was willing to wait. Then she said it would be $22.00. I informed her that the online price was $13.60. "No", she said "that was the old price". While I cannot dictate the price that a vendor charges for their product, I will say this seemed a bit overboard. I have no way of giving you a review of the taste or quality, but I will say, you are free to try them out. I am by no means cheap, 100 dollar steaks are not out of the ordinary, if it's good. But this is by no means in the order of a prime cut steak! It's meat stewed for hours to make it tender, and you still contend with gristle and bone! Try if you must, don't say you weren't warned.

Awesome takeout place. My favorite dish is the pork over rice. We have also tried the beef stew and chicken stew. Both are good but pork is best! Love the empanadas, especially the beef. The prices are fair, we buy 4 large dinners and some empanadas for 4 people and eat it for 2 meals for $50. The sweet fried plantains are a great dessert!
