Decided on Bahama Breeze before catching a movie on a Tuesday night. We were greeted and sat immediately. For an appetizer we ordered the Crab Avacado stack. It was obviously not prepared fresh. It had a refrigerated ice cold feel to it and the shrimp were rubbery. For main courses there was Fish Tacos & Lobster and Shrimp Quesadillas. The Fish Tacos were well done and not breaded which was good. The Lobster Quesadillas were mostly cheese inside of a flour tortilla. There wasn't much of a lobster presence. The service was polite and timely which was important because there was a movie to catch. Overall I was not happy with the food. One good dish out of three is a fail for me. I don't think I'd try this again.

My husband has been jonesing for some Jamaican cuisine for some time, but we never seem to work it in. Last night, he took the time to find the opportunity and location: and we went for it.The location is small and cozy, and the staff is extremely friendly. I was a little bummed that there was a T.V. on in the dining room, but most small places seem to be going in that direction anyway. But lets get to the shining star: the food.I must say, and I do not claim to be a connoisseur of Jamaican cuisine, this. food. was. amazing. We started with a beef patty, jerk chicken patty, and coco bread. None of these were overly spicy, so the kids were able to dig in as well. HUGE fans of the coco bread - fresh, warm, delicious. I preferred the beef patty to the jerk chicken patty; but really, you can't go wrong. My husband ordered the spicy jerk chicken, which came with rice and peas, plantains, and cabbage; I had the whiting which had the same sides, and my kids split a chicken curry roti. Everyone was happy with their selection. Of course I tried them all (because: why not?!). The whiting was fried to a perfect crisp, the cabbage still had a little bit of a crunch to it, which I LOVED, the rice and peas -- I could eat a whole bowl by itself: this is how rice is SUPPOSED to be done, and the plantains were a nice sweet addition. The spicy jerk chicken was spicy, but not in the "my face is numb" - painful - kindof spice. The jerk sauce was over-the-moon. That and a bowl of their rice, and I'm good for eternity. I grabbed one of my kid's plate thinking they didn't eat much of the Roti, but they managed to open it up and eat most of the insides out! I did successfully gather a taste from both of their plates, and had I not been full, would have finished everything they had left.I will 100% go back to this restaurant.Great food, great service, and very affordable. It is a BYOB, so be aware, if you are looking to add a little spice of your own to the meal =)
