The first taste of Nathalee Francis' delicious Jamaican cuisine will blow you away. The ackee and saltfish was creamy and smooth . The curried goat and jerk chicken were equally delicious with generous portions and beautifully presented with rice and beans and cabbage. I am looking forward to trying the oxtail on my next visit...and chatting again with the warm and friendly owners Patrick and Nathalee. One of the best ethnic restaurants I have had the pleasure of eating in on Long Island.

Well, my husband & I celebrated in May. I chose Spices Negril and I am soooo sorry I did. The waitress was only attentive to the patrons she knew. I guess they were regulars. The lights were so dim you couldn't see your hand in front of your face. It took 25 minutes for her to take our orders. 45 minutes for drinks...1.5 hours to get our food. After 2 hours someone finally lit the candle at our table. And the music...it was so loud we couldn't even have conversation. So much bass I could even feel it in my chest. Asked for a refill and water, never got it.I will NEVER go there again. Thanks for ruing my anniversary!

Tony Cubans is a great fusion of Cuban and Italian food. My wife and I went on a referral, and were pleasantly surprised. I had an Italian Cuban which was a Cuban with Procuitto and Mozzarella. For appetizers we had a Mango Salad, Shrimp, and Black bean soup. They were all excellent. Even the bread basket was a selection of different breads that were very fresh. The food was great and plentiful, but the service was only good. One real downside, was the plastic ware. Plastic glasses, plastic chipped plates and bowls, that was a real turnoff. We actually asked for a new plate and the one the waitress brought out was worse than the the first one. That took a real "chip" out of an otherwise great dining experience.
