In the old city center, up the hill, you find the Bistro Trinidad in colonial style. We had our dinner on the splendid roof terrace. All dishes were perfectly prepared. We tasted the lobster with fresh tomato sauce, the fish fillet and the mixed grill of lobster and fish. Allin (food, cocktails and drinks) 60 cuc for 4 persons. Friendly staff. Warmly recommended.

I ate here 3 times while in Trinidad and thoroughly enjoyed every meal. The food, the service and the atmosphere are all top quality. The owner Alvaro is incredibly gracious, kind, and professional; he knows how to run a top quality restaurant. The setting is lovely, outdoors (or indoor if you choose) with hammocks and swing chairs, open air it feels like a respite. And the food is delicious and affordable. I loved the cheese stuffed plantains. All the servers I had were incredibly friendly and attentive. I recommend this place highly. Also, the owner's wife Lily rents a lovely room with private bathroom in her Casa Particular adjacent to the restaurant. I highly recommend it as well. I spent 9 days there and it was absolutely divine. Huge patio with hundreds of plants, rocking chairs and hammock.

We went there for a dinner while we in Trinidad. I ordered shrimp and my partner ordered lobster, and we loved them! The price are inexpensive, comparing to other restaurants in Trinidad that we have visited. Furthermore, even though it was busy at the time that we arrived and there was only one waitress, she still manage to serve us without delay!
