We visited a year ago when first moving to the area on a recommendation. Have been back several times and enjoyed the menu, friendly service and clean surroundings. My elderly dad was with us and loved the food and the friendly people. The owner is from Louisiana and knows what he'd doing!!! Has a nice salad bar too. Highly recommend! You won't be disappointed! We're happy that you, your Dad and family enjoy our Cafe. Thanks so much for taking the time to give us such a great review!

BW and I had dinner and watched the sunset over Mobile bay the other evening. Sat on the deck and really enjoyed the experience. Service was good, and the food (gator bites, gumbo, and fried oysters) was excellent. Live music was a plus. Fans and misters kept us cool. We are snowbirds and have slipped into a tradition of staying on the east side of Mobile each year as we make our trek to Florida. I simply can't imagine a more convivial place to relax and unwind from a long day on the road. Go.

My wife, a friend and I ate lunch today. We had crab cake appetizers, house salads, and the Brussels sprout Caesar salad with shrimp. This was are 4th or 5th visit, but our first at lunch. The shrimp were rotten, the smell was over powering. We sent them back, and the server said, âwe have fresher ones, would you like some?â The lettuce on both salads was brown in places and not clean.
