Our first visit was northing but excellent - great food and service. 7.50e for a copious dish of smoked salmon, roasted peppers with pine nuts, mozzarella cheese and a few chips. When we found ourselves in Villefranche a few days later we were looking forward to another plate of delicious food. We ordered the same dish and how different could it be - less salmon and roasted peppers, no mozzarella and a pile of unwanted chips. We did complain and the waitress took it serious. Top marks for that.

We kept going back to eat here, it was relaxed, great varied menu and brilliant service. Nice location for any time of day.

The terrace is lovely and shaded by umbrellas. It looks out over a square by the church. The food was good, service pleasant, and atmosphere outstanding. There were two of us, and we had a salad and and panini. Both were very good. The "frites" we're just little puffs of fried potato - not bad, but not what you think of as frites.
