Reviews on Cafe food in Portofino, Italy. One of the most popular resort towns on the Italian Riviera, little Portofino has just over 500 permanent residents. But that all changes on summer days when the sun is shining and the yachting set drops anchor in the harbor to wander about. Boutiques, art galleries, cafes and restaurants line the tiny streets. Diving, hiking and beach-going are popular local pastimes, and there are even some historic sights like the Church of St. Martin (Divo Martino) and the Castello Brown hilltop fortress.

We are a Lounge-bar for an unforgettable "aperitivo" in the furthest and most beautiful place in Portofino. We are proud to say this place is magical and it's dedicated to romantic people looking to enjoying good drinks in a relaxed atmosfere and positive
Al Faro will welcome you on the terrace of Portofino's lighthouse. The view is unbearable after a nice walk through the hill upon Portofino. The place is not very big, but there's enough capacity for 25-30 people. Very typical the Festivo di Portofino ginger-based, but the fresh cocktail wasn't that good. Fair prices, though.Al Faro is worth a visit!

Sabot Italia is an American bar in the heart of Santa Margherita Ligure since 1992, a wine bar with a wide range of fine wines.
Sabot serves excellent aperitivi from 5-9pm - generous portions of salami, cheese, olives, bread sticks and ham, all complementary with drinks in the evening. We'd just been in Portofino where the prices are so outrageous that we were thrilled to find Sabot serving equivalent drinks for less than half the price. The waiter was very friendly and refilled our food platter without asking. Great music there too.

Good coffee, nice selection of beverages, decent service--not outstanding, but not bad.The location is the best part.
