Found this one on TripAdvisor. We were seated promptly, and given excellent service. Place is open, airy but a bit noisy. We both ordered the two for you lunch special. I had the vegetable soup which was amazing and a ham and gruyere melt. Lots of healthy options on the menu. Good breakfast selections as well. Great spot for a hungry traveler to get a good meal!

We stopped by for lunch after visiting The Maritime museum,also 5 star.Our salads were delicious , as was the quiche.Finished off with superb carrot cake and lemon slice.Lattes excellent tooBest bakery I have found in 10 years in Hampton Roads

Atmosphere was fine and service was pretty good. We think most of us basically ordered poorly. Was not wild about my Turkey Sandwich (had kind of German sounding name) because it was too spicy. My wife really wanted to go there to get the other Turkey sandwich they have, which is like "Thanksgiving on a Sandwich" with stuffing and cranberry. She thought it was "eh." They are supposed to be famous for their chicken salad, but my mother thought it was just "meh," too. My father really enjoyed his French Dip. The Brownie of the Day was the highlight though. It is obvious that everything is fresh made. We got there too late for the pancakes (which is what I wanted, so, perhaps my review is not entirely fair). Overall, we want to try eating there again, but ordering different stuff next time.
