Excellent organic coffee, breakfasts, salads, pastas, baguettes and more. Everything is fresh and homemade. I recommend the chiles rellenos, chicken curry salad, Thai salad, and pastas. The staff is wonderful and they speak English, Spanish and French. Hi

We visited friends for a light lunch and sat at one of the outdoor tables. The menu (see photo) included some vegetarian choices; we tried 2 - the vegetarian spring rolls (not fried) and the vegetarian quesadillas. Both were tasty. Especially liked the peanut dipping sauce for the rolls. Calypso is a little unusual, with half in fact being a boutique offering clothes for sale! We thought the service was good and prices were reasonable. Friend said his smoothie was very good. We will return next time we are in Melaque and crave a veggie bite.

This is by far my favorite restaurant in Melaque! Whether you are looking for a great cup of coffee, delicious sandwich or an authentic Mexican dinner they have it all. The staff is friendly and attentive and the food always great. Located close to the center of town this gorgeous resaurant is one I go back to time and again!

We are a small establishment located at the main street (sonora#13). We opened our doors in 2002, and since then we put all our efforts to provide a pleasant stay accompanied by excellent service and delicious dishes. All our dishes are made at the moment

We enjoyed delicious pancakes, coffee, hash browns and eggs mexicana. They make everything the way you like it and with excellent service. It's not on the water but right on the little street where you can see the going on of the town.
