Stopped here for some fresh malasadas. They are made to order, so they are nice and warm to eat! Cream filled ones are good. Also the prices on the other menu options looked halfway decent as well. Cheap by Maui standards and seemed popular for breakfast.

Maui's homegrown cafe featuring locally inspired cuisine, organic coffee and other tasty treats! #pikocafemaui
We ate here numerous times while on vacation. Lunch is much better than breakfast. Highly recommend the Mochiko Chicken, and the Ono-Ono Shakes (peanut, banana, chocolate). Each lunch comes with the main dish, two scoops of rice, and a scoop of macaroni salad (very typical local lunch). Tried a few different items (Katsu Chicken, Mahi-Mahi, Mixed Plate). Really thought the Mochiko chicken was the best. Talking with the staff, they also thought the Mochiko chicken was what they did the best.

Great coffee and a really attentive server. The oxtail soup was delish. Went back another day for eggs Benedict - solid. The real star had to be the salad dressing...some sort of fresh herb, maybe sweet basil. Amazing.
