Khammouane Food Guide: 10 Must-Eat Restaurants & Street Food Stalls in Khammouane

This place looks quite nice on the outside but when you get inside, it all changes. The staff are the young daughters of the restaurant owners and they speak zero english. They also lack experience in service for westerners. I ordered a pot of tea and instead of giving me a mug to pour into, they gave me one of those little chinese cups without a handle. The hot tea scolds the fingers. I had to spend 5 minutes explaining I wanted a mug. The breakfast is small portion and over priced compared with the SABAIDEE THAKHEK RESTAURANT. There as an extra charge of 5k LAK for each square of butter. The coffee is okay but this place is set up for Lao people and not westerners.
