Who would have thought you could find a great place to eat attached to a gas station? Looks small from the outside but hedge your bets and try it out!We were staying locally for a few days and on our last day we decided to have a bigger hot breakfast. Rated #1 caught our eye even if the exterior did not!We walked in and were told to sit anywhere. Itâs actually quite big in there but tight. She came quickly to ask our beverage choice. For breakfast on the table was lite breakfast, 2 scrambled egg avocado burritos and Combo A with ham.I had the lite breakfast with link sausage and sourdough toast. The sausage was very good. Both parties really like the burrito commenting that the tortilla was especially tasty. The ham and huckleberry pancakes were said to be delicious. All our dishes were big servings, served hot as expected.Good food and good service, whatâs not too love? Lots of options. Outside seating on a beautiful day. Only downside is not a lot of parking but maybe park at the grocery store and walk over, itâs right next to it.

Diner style. Older place but it was clean. Wait staff was pleasant and warmed up coffee frequently. Large portions. You wonât be hungry when you leave. Would eat here again.

Located at the Historic Tamarack Lodge and Cabins, halfway between Columbia Falls and the West Entrance to Glacier National Park, we provide a full dinner menu seven days a week with fireside dining and a full bar. Breakfast is served from 7am - 11am ever
After traveling all day we checked into the Tamarack which conveniently has a restaurant attached. When you check in, Kyle, the front desk host is also the bartender. We checked in the. Got a couple of local beers In chilled glasses and then sat in the second room, where they have a fireplace and tv we snuggled into a very comfortable leather sofa and enjoyed our beers. Then Tara our server came up and took our order. She recommended the crab cakes which were delicious. For dinner we split the pesto penne with chicken which was mediocre. I will say, sitting on the sofa with the table that was raised to accommodate us was pretty amazing. We felt very welcome there and would highly recommend to non guests of the hotel. Thank you so much, Shayne! We appreciate your feedback and recommendation for anyone passing by to try Off The Beaten Path. We are glad you took advantage of full use of the main lodge by having your meal cozy by the fireplace. We hope you will visit us again in the future!
