Situated beside the River Helmsdale, the Riverside Cafe offers homebaking and light lunches. There are tables outside where you can sit and watch the local wildlife, or you can sit indoors and look out on the herb garden.
Decent little cafe within the Timespan Centre in Helmsdale. Good view of the river and the old bridge. Nice cup of tea and soya is available. Friendly and welcoming staff. Excellent herb garden and geological exhibit just outside the door and worth a look after you are refreshed. Nothing really outstanding (hence the three stars). There ought to be a rating for "good" rather than just average or very good.
