No... the average food is not worth the incredibly loud and noisy dining room..full of screaming kids...Sunday morning.. and.. bad service.. slow... not once was I asked if I wanted more coffee.. first and last visit..

Absolutely delicious donuts, also great sausage kolaches (this is a bread roll with American cheese and half a red sausage inside the bread â like a pig in a blanket). Very friendly staff, clean restrooms, packed with locals in the morning. Worth the 5-minute detour off the interstate if traveling between Baton Rouge and New Orleans or vice versa. Would be even better if they stayed open in the afternoons and evenings.

The lunches here are awesome! Large portions for only around $6.50. We had delicious shrimp and sausage gumbo, large fried catfish filets, choice of a side and toasty bread. I was stuffed! The atmosphere is super casual and the waitstaff are friendly and accommodating. One side is the donut shop. Don't even get me started on the apple fritters...
