Things to do in Gas City
I have eaten here several times by myself and once with a group of eleven people. Breakfasts are good. I recommend the "Breakfast Bowl" or one of the omelets. They also serve lunch and dinner. Staff are friendly and helpful. It is a typical small town local place. All on one floor with no stairs, quite handicapped accessible. "One seater" unisex bathroom which is roomy and clean. It is located on one of Jonesboro's brick streets and still looks a bit like the post office which once occupied the building.

Being from out of state and liking to try local diners, we found this place on TripAdvisor and decided it would be our lunch stop. Pulled in right about noon as their website and TripAdvisor both said open until 2p. My wife walked in and the waitress rudely said "we are closed", so my wife said your website says 2p thinking they would say thanks for letting us know. Instead we got a "we close at noon". If I remember the sign on the door had an opening time but no closing time on Saturday. So a first and last time ever stop for us. Hope they treat the locals better...

The food is fresh and very good but a little bit pricey. All the food served here is made from fresh ingredients. I would have given it 5 stars if it was not for the prices. But the food does warrant this price. This is not regular fast food type sandwiches. And the ingredients used in their food is better quality than most fast food places. A good place for good health food.
