Breakfast is super good. Bakery is fantastic hand crafted pies, cakes, quiche, cookies, biscuits and more. We also had a short cake made for a family birthday which was very enjoyable and priced average. Must try again for lunch

Margaret's Kitchen

I visited Margaret's Kitchen with a friend on Saturday morning and was so floored by the quality that I brought my wife and extended family back for brunch on Sunday. Organic eggs, a proper Hollandaise sauce, creative spins on classic dishes, friendly staff, modern feel...the list goes on to what impressed me. My wife and I are foodies that travel often and we're pretty picky...Margaret's Kitchen scores an A++ in our book. Chef/Owner Dustin is a home town kid from the Lakes Region that is raising the bar in comparison to the plethora of greasy spoon mediocre snoozefests that are scattered across the area. The meal will likely take a few more minutes than the garbage diner food the Lakes Region is used to and will likely cost a few more dollars..BUT the pay off comes in every bite. The portions are enormous..I had to box half of my Irish Benedict. Seriously, you get what you pay for and the value per dollar FAR OUT WEIGHS the competition. 5 STARS only because I can't leave more.
