For a small town, it is nice to have a bakery with so many offerings both breads and pastries - the almond meringue have a special name that I forgot to write down and are reputed to be Ingrid Bergman's favorite, no doubt contributing to its iconic connection with Fjallbacka's cultural history (as was shared by several of the locals with whom we spoke).The downside is there is no inside seating so if it is raining, as it was during our 2 day stay, we could only buy and take-out. So we skipped the coffees and full fika experience.

Self service restaurant at a nice location. Great choice between sandwhiches and hot plates. The hot plates to be ordered, and will then be served. Interesting sabdwhiches. Fishsoup in large bowl was good. Large choice of desserts, too. Quality of food was average to good.
