The burger and salad were not that great, the salad was drenched in what seemed like a grocery store bought dressing and it was just awful, had they placed less then half the amount of dressing it might have been half way passable. The pot pies I bought to go were great. The staff are friendly and the prices are cheap. It's a small establishment and can fill up fast. You place your order at the counter and they bring your meal.

My wife and I were driving to Banff from Vancouver and stop at these types of places whenever we can during road trips. Golden Ears Farm is a locavore haven. They are also a fruit stand with loads of local produce, but their baked goods are worth the stop (and worth going out of your way honestly). Because this is the first review/listing of this place, I can't post my photo of the nectarine raspberry pie. It was sublime. Not overly sweetened, the nectarines retained enough texture to have a bit of toothsomeness left. The crust was flaky and neither too moist nor dry (the perfect delivery device). The cookies were also phenomenal, the kind you wish your mother ever made (but let's face it, she was never that creative!).

I stopped in Chase for a coffee break while driving from Kamloops. I was pleasantly surprised to find a safe coffee haven in a wonderfully renovated heritage building. Homemade Apple Pie and a Cappacino welcomed me. A great chat with the new owners. Lots of local folks coming and going. Coffee made the right way, you will not be disappointed you will be well pleased.
