With an impending snowstorm, hubby and I decided to go for an early breakfast today. There was only one other customer seated so we had the restaurant's sole employee all to ourselves. She promptly brought beverages and took our order. Menus are on the tables and there is counter seating for when seating is limited. As time went on, more people came in (as did more employees) and the conversation was all about the bad weather. Soon our home-made breakfasts appeared, omelet and raisin bread toast for me, eggs, home fries, toast and bacon for hubby. We dug right in and enjoyed every morsel. Coffee was refilled often and we left full of good food ready for whatever Mother Nature has in store for us. Keep in mind the place closes early, noon on Saturdays. A perfect place for a small town where the diners all seem to know each other. One customer refilled his coffee mug by bringing the pot back to his table and returning it to the table.
