We had breakfast and it was very good. If you're from the area, you can visit with friends; out of towners get to watch an old-fashioned, down-home restaurant at work. The owner is the cook, the server has been there over ten years and everyone is very friendly. Who could ask for more?

We stopped here on our trip down through the Sand Hills. It was a refreshing and welcome alternative to the chicken fried, deep fried, and gravy covered choices available in most places. The chicken salad on croissant sandwich and homemade tomato soup were delicious! The gift shop featured some very original and attractive cards, tea towels and other items. Stop here for breakfast or lunch!
