I had a long trip ahead, and it was already past my lunch hour. I took a quick pass through Benton City and rolled up on Mama's. I still had half an hour before the after-lunch closure. The menu is focused on hungry people. My neighbor ordered a vegetable omelette that looked incredibly fresh, given the colors of both the eggs and the ample filling. Fresh corn and spinach were in abundance from what I could see. My eyes wandered to the Mama's Big Foot, but there was no description. The chef/waitress described a chicken fried steak sandwich heaped with a mountain of goodness. Along with a batch of her homemade onion rings, an army would be satisfied. The two halves were pinned with steak knives, not toothpicks. The nicely brown rings had a great crunch and sweet flavor. I savored the first half, then wrapped the rest to eat while I waited for a flight several hours later. The memory of such an amazing sandwich will be with me a long time.

We love this place. It is amazingly unique and have never seen another like it. There is a little something here for everyone and fun to be at. Just walking around and looking at all the different merchandise is fun as well. Definitely a fun spot.
