This is the stylish lounge or bar or whatever you wish to call it of the Waldorf Astoria hotel. We had coffee here, and pre-dinner drinks, but the most memorable experience was the afternoon tea.Not only is seating very comfortable, the afternoon tea offers an amazing selection of miniature cold and hot dishes, fine patisseries and the traditional warm scones with english cream and jam.Dear valued guestWe are glad to hear about your outstanding experience in Peacock Alley. Our team members strive for the ultimate guest satisfaction and we truly appreciate your fantastic feedback. We'll make sure to motivate the team by sharing your wonderful comments. We look forward to having you back with us in Peacock Alley soon. Assistant Director of Food & Beverage Julian Li

We stopped in this hotel just so we could see another hotel in Beijing (my degree is in hotel and restaurant management, so restaurants, hotels, bars, etc. are a must see on my list even though I am retired now). The lobby has these really HUGE pots. Different. We had a glass of wine and a beer in the lobby lounge, and they provided a little snack to eat with your drinks. Service was a little slow, but we were not in a hurry, so no big deal.We tried to go to the 5th floor bar, but we guess it is only open at night (as we were there during the day). Doors closed, lights off.
