The food was rather good for Norwegian standards and presented nicely. The bottled specialty beer is very good. The architecture of the new building is impressive from the outside and it also hosts a history museum of Norwegian mountain climbing, cinema, souvenir shop and the cafe. A big minus is the inside architecture of the cafe: It looks and feels like a school canteen from the 70'ties. Cold, drafty and bad acoustics which made a conversation rather impossible.

The salmon sandwich was a bit of a let down, it looked amazing but was dry, however in fairness she did rush to make them for us.The latte's were tasty, but the star was the chocolatine (it was almost like it had a buttery creamy chocolate filling, very very good. The almond danish was nice with very nice pastry dough.Service was perfect and very friendly and the outdoor seating was perfect (with the sun)
Had a quick lunch on the way through the valley. Many good choices for a place like this and we both winded up having a Greek salad, which was very good. Fast and kind service.
