Al lopend door dit mooie stadje kwamen we voorbij dit restaurant. We besloten er die avond te gaan eten. De bediening was vriendelijk en de kaart okÃ©. Onze voorgerechten waren prima. Het hoofdgerecht van mijn vrouw was kabeljauw en smaakte goed. Zelf had ik de tournedos. Was beslist niet lekker en de wodkaknoflooksaus smakeloos. De eigenaresse trad op als gastvrouw. De tafeltjes rondom werden door haar geregeld bezocht met een praatje. Ons tafeltje werd telkens overgeslagen. Het lijkt me als gastvrouw niet zo moeilijk om de passant smakelijk eten te wensen. Bij binnenkomst werden onze jassen in ontvangst genomen. Na het afrekenen was ook de service voorbij. Zelf de jas zoeken en geen prettige avond of tot ziens. Jammer!

I enjoyed having my daily cappuccino here. During my 2 week holiday in The Netherlands, De Brink offered the cheapest cappuccino..... which adds up, especially if you love coffee. They also offer some meals and toasted sandwiches, as well as ice-cream. Cosy inside, although they do not have a very large outdoor seating area..... but pick the table closest to the window; you can get some of the sun's heat, without enduring the cold outside! It's a win-win situation! It's located next to the Jumbo supermarket, so it's a nice little place to stop and have a coffee after your grocery shopping.
