A friend and I had lunch at Shortyâs and will return again. I had an overflowing pork ssndwich that was perfectly made and had such a great taste that I didnât even put barbecue sauce on it. The sides of potatoe salad and slaw were definitely homemade tasty! My friend said the ribs were great as well as the potatoe salad and the Gouda cheese macaroni and cheese.

If you have not eaten fried chicken at Annbriar you are missing the most amazing fried chicken ever. Fried chicken is my favorite food and I often order it at a lot of different restaurants but I am always extremely disappointed because no place comes close the the chicken at Annbriar. Very disappointed! Love trying new BBQ places. This definitely isnât a good one. They were out of most things early afternoon (not because they were crowded). The brisket tasted like pot roast. There was barely any smoke flavor on anything. The ribs were very bad. Just an expensive bad experience.
