We ended up with a pretty large bill, even though the food is not too expensive. Dinner can take up to an hour so make sure you don't drink too much on an empty stomach. Very memorable experience not to be missed if you visit Chatham Bay.
We offer a full bar, local juices & smoothies, dining, free wifi, Bon fire, Group dining rental,Clearance for yacht through customs & immigration, also transportation for customs & immigration by land and sea.
It doesn't look like much from the outside, but the food was so good we had both lunch and dinner there. The menu was on a chalkboard, and not everything on the chalk board was available, and other items not on the chalkboard were, so be sure to ask. For lunch we ordered fish fitters and requested fish and chips. The fritters were quite tasty. The fish and chips was a whole fish, lightly battered and fried, served with garlic potato wedges - not quite what we expected but delicious nonetheless. For dinner, we had curry conch and chicken creole. Dinner entrees were served with a crisp salad, rice and plantains. The banana fritter dessert drizzled with chocolate was outstanding. The presence of a friendly beach dog made us feel at home (and a little homesick, at the same time).

Jerry's Palm Leaf Bar and Restaurant is situated right on the waterfront on one of the most beautiful bays Union Island has to offer. They offer fresh food cooked on the barbecue which has been caught only minutes before your meal. You must place your order before your meal so they can catch the right quantity of seafood for everyone (it's that fresh!). They also offer meat dishes such as ribs, which my brother said were delicious! I ordered the lobster and it was absolutely PHENOMENAL. It was topped not only with butter but with a delicious vegetable topping. My friend ordered the conch (or lambi as it is called) and said it was one of the best ones she has ever had. The staff at the restaurant are friendly, efficient and quite accommodating to requests (we asked for our salad without dressing).I recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area, an absolutely perfect lunch! Thanks you so much for this recommendation.
