City BBQ is one of my favorite places to eat BBQ - Rib Bone Tuesdayâs are hard to beat! This particular location always has super friendly staff, and the owner is very friendly. A plus for me is they are dog friendly if you are stopping by to eat on their patio. From their ribs, to their banana pudding to the deep fried pickles everything Iâve had here so far is awesome! The atmosphere and delicious food make this a stop for us more than a few times a month.

Stopped in here the other evening for supper-our first time being here. Kind of a big and roomy place. Unique décor. Food was ok-but a little high priced. Drinks were definitely high priced. No happy either that I noticed. Service was decent. Lady was kind of friendly (waitress). For the amount of money we dropped we weren't overly impressed.

Has not been to the hickory House in some time and since we were on the team east side of Columbus thought we would stop in at the one in Gahanna. There was no room in the dining room but open seats in the bar area. Sat down and were greeted right away and bar tender was very pleasant but seemed in a hurry. Not that busy in the bar. Once we got our drinks we ordered our food, wife got salad , barbecue salmon and asparagus. I ordered the brisket sandwich with fries. My order was very good. Very lean brisket and fries were done just right. Wifeâs started well with the salad but then the salmon was undercooked and the asparagus was mushy not crisp. It was chilly inside as well so we did kit venture into the deserts. Not the usual 100% satisfaction!
