Would describe as traditional Greek/Cretan with a modern twist. The grill chef Giannis knows his skill. Irene is meticulous in selecting different suppliers for the quality of meat (lamb cutlets vary as do steaks animal to animal even back at home!) The catch of the day is often caught by Manousos himself. Some of the reviews do not match up against our overall experience: welcome received, the hospitality, nor mention the bespoke decor, relaxed service, the exceptional value for money, large portions and quality of food & overall dining experience. All pastries, desserts, grissini etc are made fresh on site by Irene's cousin. Breads, 3 x appetizers 3 x mains 2 x 0.5ltr wine & water less, Orange cake/Raki less than 60⬠#superb #fantastic #hiddengem

We ended up having two meals here it was so good. Booking I think is a must as on both occasions lots of people were turned away. Food wise we had two great experiences however service wise we had two different experiences. First time we visited it was spot on but second time it was not as good. the owner is really helpful and friendly and keen to ensure you have a good experience. Not so for the other waiter who could do with a bit of advice in customer service.However don't let this put you off. The food is superb and a place not to miss

Situated on the corner opposite Ostraco, with its own restaurant area but also serving in Ostraco, This new outlet is a great addition to Plakias.We ordered the mixed Souflaki plate (on the recommendation of Nicos) Wow what arrive really surprised us. It came presented on an A frame display tray with slate inserts, On it were Lamb, Beef, Pork, and Chicken skewers, plus 2 meat balls on a skewer, 2 sausages, 3 pieces of haloumi, 3 mushrooms, cocktail sauce, barbeque sauce, Tazsiki, 4 pitta breads, chips and a Creatan salad of potato lettuce onion and egg. The food was tasty, tender and the presentation was excellent and great value.Both of us were really satisfied and were plesantly pleased with the service.Donât miss out on this place itâs a revelation.
